"Yoga is the journey of the self, thru the self, to the self." Start and/or keep a good yoga practice with this 20-Page yoga planner. Perfect to follow your success, establish a routine, and keep track of your progress. I combined those with meditation and mindfulness practice worksheets for those who, like me, think that all of them go together!
After practicing yoga, putting pen to paper can provide significant mental, psychological, spiritual, and physical effects. I'm a firm believer in written form. Moving into Asana awakens my soul, mind, and hips, but I still feel more expression inside me waiting to be released. So I'll grab a notebook and scribble down anything that pops up. I've observed a few advantages in my life due to maintaining a yoga notebook, including the ones stated below.
Awareness
Journaling is an effective tool for pursuing Dharana in yoga practice and daily life. Journaling enhances self-awareness by contemplating the past while focusing on the present. Writing helps us get acquainted with what we love, struggle with, and wish to pursue by clarifying muddled ideas and feelings. We improve our emotional well-being by having a greater understanding of ourselves and our relationships. Mindful self-awareness lays the groundwork for emotional compassion, growth, and transformation.
Gratitude
Keeping a journal after a yoga session helps us create gratitude for our practice and ourselves. We begin to enjoy our voyage to where we are–as we memorialize our obstacles, lessons, and growth. Reflecting on our path also motivates us to broaden and deepen our practice, drawing us regularly to it.
Trust
Journaling enables us to trust ourselves to convey our truths by positively affecting mental health and an attitude of gratitude. We have the flexibility to be innovative and bold in our self-expression because there is no uniform or "correct" method to journal.
Exercising self-confidence and expressiveness via writing refocuses our attention on who we are and what we desire. It reminds us of the importance of the heart. The centeredness we receive via self-trust decreases stress and worry, gives us the capacity to make choices, and drives us toward our objectives.
Health
According to research, writing can assist us in dealing with and overcoming stressful events, lessening their psychological, emotional, and physical stressors on our well-being. According to psychologist and researcher James Pennebaker, it helps improve immune cells and alleviate asthma symptoms and arthritis. We grow healthier and happier when we have greater confidence and less stress. This progressive metamorphosis gives us the ability to share our joy with others.
Journaling regularly as part of my yoga practice has helped me be happier and more productive. It has given me a greater bond to my practice–both on and off the ma. It has strengthened my appreciation for my practice, myself, and my place in life. Are you ready to begin? Take out your diary and a pen, and let your personality shine.
